I am a Prophet (ELECTRIC PROPHET) This work is a very clean prediction magic trick by Masayuki Kozawa, a magic researcher, and Hideki Tani, a creator who won the 3rd Masao Atsukawa Award and has continued to release unique works. It employs ingenious mathematical principles, which allows the performer to perform the trick without touching the cards throughout. Effect: The performer takes out an envelope, a booklet titled "I am a Prophet," and a deck of cards. The audience chooses their favorite color and a single-digit number according to the instructions in the booklet. The cards are shuffled well and further manipulated as instructed, eventually being divided into two piles. During this time, the performer does not touch the cards at all, and the number of cards in each pile changes depending on the initial color and number chosen. Nevertheless, the result is predicted inside the envelope.
