Since it's 16.5 inches, it might be small for men over 170cm. I recommend it for people between 155cm and 170cm. I mainly rode thoroughbreds, but there were no particular problems. Especially in the summer, please take measures against mold. Like all leather products, please take care of it little by little. Even if mold appears, it's not a problem if you wipe it off with a towel or use a mold remover. Regarding the riding comfort, the leather doesn't slip, and the knee pads don't get in the way. It depends on how you teach, but I think it's a saddle that will be very useful as you become more relaxed while riding. I used it from beginner to intermediate level. It's well-worn, but the CHILDÉRIC FM rarely appears on Mercari (a Japanese online marketplace), maybe only once every six months, so I'd like to sell it at a low price due to moving.
