This is a very rare piece from Moschendorf, Germany, made in 1952, about 80 years ago. This beautiful cup & saucer features a hard porcelain body covered in vermilion, decorated with floral motifs, and gold paint inside the cup. Moschendorf: Founded in 1879, this manufacturer was known for its integrity, resisting the Nazi regime during World War II, which led to its closure in 1944. After the war, they refused an offer from the famous Meissen and closed their kiln in 1957. Condition: The gold decoration on the surface has faded due to age, but since I acquired it, it has been displayed in a display case and has not been used. I believe it is in beautiful condition, with no cracks or chips.
