This is a commemorative medal from the American Embassy in Tokyo. The first photo shows the front and back of the medal. The front features the American bald eagle emblem and the words "United States of America." The back depicts Mount Fuji with cherry blossoms, the flags of the United States and Japan, and the words "American Embassy, Tokyo, Japan." It is approximately 40mm in diameter and 4mm thick. It comes in a circular plastic case (as shown in the photo). It is a new, unused item. It was taken out of the outer bag for the photos, but has not been removed from the plastic case.
