Vintage OMEGA Omega CAL. 284 Hand-wound 17 JEWELS Serial number 1627**** Overhauled (2024 R.6.7.30) Glass case and band are original, only the internal mechanism has been overhauled. This is a stainless steel case round three-hand model equipped with Omega's famous Cal. 284. Released in 1956, the Cal. 284 equipped model is a later type. The movement, plated in Omega's traditional pink gold, which ticks at a low beat of 18,000 vibrations, is still beautiful today. Winding the crown is crisp and light. The simple silver dial features applied Arabic numerals and wedge indexes, with the Ω mark below the 12 o'clock position also applied. There are cracks at the 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock positions, indicating water resistance. The band is not original. It is a black leather belt.
