This slub cotton stole is perfect for casual wear. We entrusted a workshop that dyes yarn and weaves it into stoles to create this piece! It's a generous size, approximately 180 cm long. We used a deep indigo dye, resulting in a crisp and refined stole. The slub yarn is intentionally made with a combination of tightly twisted, thin sections and loosely twisted, thick sections, creating an uneven texture. This yarn is hand-woven into the stole with a rough, textured weave. The stole is dyed using 100% natural pigments. Indigo dye, made only from natural ingredients, protects your skin from UV rays. It also has antibacterial and deodorizing effects, making it safe for babies and those with sensitive skin. When wrapped around your neck, it traps a lot of air, providing the warmth of a coat. Initially, wash it by hand in warm water, about the temperature of a bath. You'll see the water turn yellow as the indigo dye's excess color comes out. This is proof that the microorganisms are working. Change the water, soak, and wash again before using. After that, you can wash it in the washing machine with your regular laundry. We recommend using a laundry net and a gentle cycle. Please use a detergent that does not contain bleach or fluorescent agents. This is a genuine hand-woven and hand-dyed stole. There may be knots in the yarn, weaving imperfections, and uneven dyeing. The width may also vary slightly. We hope you appreciate these aspects as part of the handmade charm.
