The OM-2's operation was a remarkable achievement at the time, combining the functions of the OM-1 with the world's first aperture-priority TTL direct metering electronic shutter. Furthermore, this is a model where the automatic shooting time of the original OM-2 was changed from 60 seconds to 120 seconds. It is a rare individual that functions properly in basic operations (the shutter speed changes with brightness, the speed changes manually, and even with continuous shooting, it doesn't result in unusually long exposures, and the low-speed shutter control, etc.). This is something that cannot be determined by descriptions like "shutter works" or "speed changes according to brightness." I don't think many people mention checking these things. ※(I also found that most of the OM-2s I obtained for my collection were defective. Some were even from people who specialize in cameras, and they were listed as working.) The camera as a whole has some scratches and dents. There are some marks from the accessory shoe on the pentaprism. ※Almost all of the ones that have it attached are completely unusable. (See image) The viewfinder is an original prism without corrosion. A 50mm F1.4 lens is included as a bonus. There are wiping marks and damage to the front lens coating. ※Some clouding in other combined lenses ※Fine dust and particles, etc. I tried using it with a digital camera via a mount adapter, but I didn't feel any extreme effects. In addition, the film chamber's light seals have been replaced. The mirror box light seals still seem to be in good condition. You can use it immediately after loading film. Please consider it as a practical camera as described above. If you are concerned about minor scratches, dirt, dust, or wiping marks on the lens, please refrain from purchasing. This camera is, after all, a used item, and please do not have excessive expectations, such as demanding the same level of cleanliness as a new product.
