Wajima-nuri lacquerware bowls, a set of two. Each bowl features a different horse design. Horses are considered auspicious, as "uma" (horse) sounds like "umaku iku" (to go well). They are also the zodiac animal for next year, so they would be perfect for use during the New Year holidays. I received these about 10 years ago, but I didn't use them regularly, only for the New Year holidays every few years. I estimate they've been used about 5 times. They were stored wrapped in cloth and kept in their box. Although they have been used, I've listed them as having no noticeable scratches or stains, and I think they are in good condition.
