In that case, as shown in images 18 and 19, gently pulling the base (pickup) visible at the bottom when the open button is pressed will open the tray. Metal fittings are included. The MD player reads discs but cannot play them, so it is offered at a bargain price for those who can repair it or don't need it. The speaker wire attachment fittings are missing, and the wires are secured with sponge. There are also slight dents (image 9) and scratches, so it is offered at a bargain price.
