This is a vibrant obi with a light blue background and a gold thread tortoise shell pattern. It was found at my parents' house, so the details are unknown, but it seems to be in relatively good condition. Is this a hanhaba obi (half-width obi)? It appears to be a child's obi. It has been stored in a paulownia chest of drawers for a long time, and there are some areas where the embroidery threads are coming out. Also, there are some areas where the light blue fabric is slightly faded (see photo 7). There are some scuffs on the gold thread and creases from being folded. There may be other overlooked imperfections. The back side is very clean.
