Veteran musicians gathered as members other than Chad, supporting the brilliant talent from the Berklee College of Music. The lyrical and transparent world he showed in "The Wizard of Oz" seems to have already been established at this point. A popular album that shows the remarkable transformation of the evolving Chad Lawson Trio (CLT). The new approach to rhythm that appeared in the opening song is probably Chad's answer to the "new beat swing" that many pianists, including Brad Mehldau, developed from the late 90s.
