This is a rain cover for a Tsugaru-jamisen case. It's designed to be slipped over the case, with the handle exposed. It was made from unused fabric intended for a rain coat. There is no lining. Since it's for a Tsugaru-jamisen, it might be too large for cases with thin necks. Photo 2 shows it covering my own shamisen case. (The case is not included.) The bottom (hem) of the cover has elastic (Photo 3). The fabric is red and white striped. The fabric states that the waterproof effect will diminish after washing, so please apply a waterproof spray after washing. It will be helpful during rainy days when transporting your shamisen to lessons, to protect your shamisen from moisture. Both I and my friends use it. Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive to handmade items or if you have allergies, as I have cats and rabbits indoors. Thank you for looking.
