This is a pierced tsuba that I purchased at an antique market some time ago. The material is brass, lighter than iron, and has an appealing color. I don't know the exact age. The inside of the nakago-ana (tang hole) shows signs of having been adapted to a sword, so I believe it was actually mounted on something. Dimensions: 7.6cm x 7.4cm Thickness: 0.55cm Nakago-ana: 2.5cm (top to bottom), 0.7cm (widest width) (Please forgive any errors due to amateur measurements) As this is an antique, it has not been cleaned and will be sold as is. Therefore, please consider the condition as having scratches and dirt. The tsuba stand is not included. The item for sale is the tsuba itself only.
