This is a very difficult-to-find type of pot! It's an unused, deadstock aluminum pot from the Showa era. This set includes a very sturdy, thick-plate aluminum saucepan and a sauté pan (with a lid that also fits the saucepan) manufactured by Sekisui Chemical. (See photos for sizes) The advantages of thick-plate aluminum pots are their excellent heat conductivity and lightness. The drawback of cooling down easily is compensated for by using thick plates, which also provide high heat retention. This is a rare pot, and the lid is a well-made, shallow sauté pan, which is convenient for things like making a small omelet or frying sausages and bacon. Please consider purchasing it!!
