A lovely, vibrant orange silk children's obi (sash). This is a "zentū" obi, meaning the pattern runs the entire length, so the design will appear regardless of where or how it's tied. It can be adjusted to fit a child's height. The reverse side is a plain orange. Perfect for Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3 Festival) or the Thirteen-Year-Old Ceremony. Made of silk with gold thread embroidery. My daughter wore this when she was 7 years old, and I tied it in a "fukurāsuzume" (puffed sparrow) knot. It's in excellent condition, with very little wear. There is no obi core, so you can easily create fine pleats and various other knots. A matching children's obijime (sash cord) and obiage (sash scarf) are also included.
