This is a baby alpaca blend shawl from the Peruvian brand ANDEAN. Baby alpaca refers to the soft fleece combed from the coats of alpaca babies under three months old, a precious material harvested only once. The fleece is fine and soft, similar to cashmere, but has a durable texture and is highly regarded as a warm material with superior heat retention. It is a different material from regular alpaca or the llamas used in cheap products, and is incomparable. Made in Peru. 46% baby alpaca, 45% acrylic, 9% nylon. 158cm x 48cm, fringe 7cm.
