Set of 4 chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) containers. These are heavy, retro-Showa era pottery with a lovely plum blossom design, creating a warm and inviting feel. There are variations in the shading of the patterns, but this is due to the hand-painted coloring and is part of the original design. They are in excellent condition, having been used very little.
