For securing the power transformer, a transformer base that floats with resin in a cast trunk case, common with the higher-end model DCD-S10IIIL, is used to cut low-frequency noise (Image 13). Equipped with AL24 Processing technology and using a Burr-Brown 24-bit DAC (PCM1704), this is a popular model with a focus on sound quality. As this is a later type of DCD-1650SR, it is in good condition with no noticeable scratches. In preparation for listing, the pickup lens, which was still usable, was replaced, and silicone grease was applied to the sliding parts.
