Suwa Taisha Shrine, Nagano Prefecture, Year of the Snake Limited Edition, Snake Charm
◆ Said to be one of the oldest shrines in Japan, it is the head shrine of over 10,000 Suwa shrines nationwide.
Centered around Lake Suwa, it is divided into two shrines, north and south.
Each further has two shrines,
making up the four main shrines.
The northern side has two shrines (Honmiya and Maemiya).
The southern side has two shrines (Akimiya and Harumiya).

Takeminakata-no-kami
The second son of Okuninushi-no-Okami, the enshrined deity of Izumo Taisha Shrine.
◎ Yasakatome-no-kami [Consort]
◎ The Onbashira Festival, held once every seven years, is one of Japan's three major unique festivals.
It is famous nationwide and is also a god of war, revered by Takeda Shingen.
◆ A strong warrior god and dragon god who leads to the courage to take the first step and to open good fortune and victory.
This year is the Year of the Snake.
