This is a simple, pre-tied obi made of tsumugi fabric. It's very nice tsumugi. The color is a subdued mustard yellow. The otaiko (back) pattern features a dyed design and delicate embroidery. The colors in the photos are a bit dull. The fourth photo is closer to the actual color, a brighter yellow. The ones that appear whitish are different; they are for showing the texture of the fabric. There are two parts: ① The otaiko and tehazu (attached by sewing) ② The part that wraps around the body (with white strings on both sides) It is not pre-shaped, so you can adjust the size of the otaiko freely. There are no hooks or metal fittings. The part that wraps around the body is folded wider on the front side, not in half. A regular Nagoya obi is about 15-16cm wide, but this obi is made to be just under 19cm wide.
