SYAIRI YD-303 w/ HARD CASE This guitar is a beautiful example, featuring laminated Jacaranda on the sides and back. Although it has a few issues, which I will explain later, it has a certain air of elegance that surpasses them (in my personal opinion). Issue #1: The previous owner amateurishly applied clear coat to the top with a brush. The condition was poor, so I had it polished by a specialist, but it couldn't be completely restored. There are also traces of paint drips on the side panels. According to the specialist, a complete restoration would require a full body repaint, but due to the cost, I only had it polished and didn't opt for a full repaint. Issue #2: There are sun-tanning marks from the pickguard. Perhaps the previous owner was a fan of the Everly Brothers or Alice? The sun-tanning marks from the pickguard are clearly visible. Issue #3: There is a slight forward bow in the neck. This model is from an era where the truss rod nut is hidden inside the fretboard at the 1st fret, so I will not be making any adjustments before listing it. Please consult a repair specialist. Current string height at the 12th fret: 6th string: 2.75mm 1st string: 2.5mm Issue #4: The pickguard has been replaced. Due to removal and reattachment for polishing, the adhesive is slightly weakened. Issue #5: There is some wear on the frets/fretboard, which is expected for its age. There is no unusual buzzing. I have restrung it with Martin MA-535 11-52 strings for the listing. Issue #6: Currently, there is no pickup installed, but the hole where the endpin jack was removed has been filled, and a strap pin has been installed. Issue #7: There is a crack in the top.
