Yamaha B♭ Cornet Short Cornet Xeno YCR-8335S Silver Plated Finish S/N 067xxx Includes original case (with 2 keys) and mouthpiece (Custom 14E-GP) This model was produced from around 2005 to 2013, before Yamaha's current Neo series. The exact manufacturing year is unknown. I purchased it as a used item from a musical instrument store in Tokyo about 4 years ago. Points of concern... ① Dent repair mark on the bell body (near the bell to mouthpiece receiver support) (see image 5) ② Impact mark on the bell root curve (see image 6) ③ Small impact scratches scattered on the bell body (see image 7) Please forgive me if I have overlooked anything else. There are fine wiping scratches from normal use, but there is no plating剥がれ (peeling), and it looks relatively clean at a glance. The case shows wear on the handle and dirt/rust on the metal fittings, but it is in relatively good condition. The mouthpiece also shows signs of use, but in my opinion, it is in a clean condition. Xeno cornets are not often listed for sale. Please take this opportunity. It is very difficult for me to part with it, but I would be happy if I could pass it on to someone who will cherish it and play it often. I think it will be useful for British brass bands, wind band repertoire that frequently uses cornets, jazz, etc. Shipping will be via Yamato Takkyubin, and I will cover the shipping costs.
