However, when it arrived, the slide also needed adjustment, and there were several noticeable dents on the bell (marked with red circles in the photos). Because of this, I haven't used it much since purchasing it, and it was about to be forgotten in storage, so I am putting it up for sale. As a test, I attached the slide from another instrument to this bell and played it, and it slid smoothly. Therefore, with slide adjustment, it will be ready for immediate use.
