It was made to resemble the popular Nuévo Pa striped dress from the year before last. ◆ Design Since Nuévo Pa's dresses are made of Indian cotton, they can be cold in the winter, so I decided to make this dress with corduroy. The model for this dress was the striped dress worn by Yuriko Ishida in 2023, which many people are still looking for. I used bias tape to create the panel shape. Although the skirt portion doesn't have as much volume as the Nuévo Pa dress, it turned out better than I expected, and I was encouraged by friends and acquaintances to list it for sale. Similar to the Nuévo Pa dress, the front and back bodice have a cotton lawn lining. Because of the good moisture absorption of cotton lawn, it doesn't have the same smooth feel as synthetic fabrics. Please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about the sewing, as it was made with a home sewing machine, not an industrial one.
