Sulfur dyeing, used since the late 80s, is very popular. Because it's dyed after the fabric is made, it fades easily, and the beautiful, contrasting color fading that occurs with wear is the secret to its popularity. These wide-leg denim are similar to the Levi's 501, 505, 540, 560, 569, and 570, with a loose, baggy silhouette. Like the silver tab, this model is gaining increasing attention among 90s Levi's.
