They take on various distinctive shapes depending on their fluidity and how they fly. - Spindle-shaped: Spindle-shaped with tapered ends due to air resistance. - Ribbon-shaped: Elongated shape formed while rotating during descent. - Bread crust-shaped: The surface of rapidly falling magma cools quickly, and internal gases expand, causing the surface to break, resulting in cracks and fissures resembling bread crust. - Cow dung-shaped: Shaped like cow dung as internal gases escape.
