This is a leather craft jacket from East West Leather Musical Instruments, specifically the popular Winchester model. Handmade one by one in the 1970s, this brand was favored by rock stars and fashion icons such as Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and more recently, Vincent Gallo. The color is a dark brown, and the leather appears to be horsehide (or possibly cowhide). It's relatively thin and more flexible than buffalo leather. This is an early production model, so it doesn't have the hidden pocket on the back of the neck. There's a slight scuff on the neck and a tear on the left elbow (see photo), but it has been repaired with a leather patch from the inside, so it's not a problem for normal wear. The leather is still firm with almost no wrinkles, and there is no other significant damage to note. The label is also in good condition.
