This is a 50cm furoshiki (wrapping cloth). I purchased it at a kimono shop and washed it once, only the kimono pattern. The purple maiko (apprentice geisha) and the brown town pattern are as they were when I bought it. The brown pattern has a design that makes it look like you're looking at a cityscape when you wrap a box-shaped object with it.
