The Spirit series can be considered the entry-level model of Steinberger. It had that Steinberger look and an HSH pickup configuration, but to get closer to the original, the pickups were replaced with EMG H4 and H4A. The wiring is solderless, using an EMG 3-position selector. The positions are front, mixed, and rear. The current center pickup is a dummy and is not wired. The original pickups, assembly, and case are also included. The tremolo arm is not included.
