This is a Playmate for the Disney World of English (DWE) Talk Along Cards, both sides digital. I purchased this last month. 〰️〰️〰️ 〰️〰️〰️ 〰️〰️〰️ 〰️〰️ As a side note, I actually wanted to use the cards my daughter used 30 years ago for my grandchild. When I looked at the Playmate I had back then, it wouldn't work because of battery leakage, so I bought an older model Playmate that was very similar to the one I had. I tried it, and it worked, but I couldn't play the sound, perhaps because the version was different. 30 years ago, there were no SD cards, and it seems it's not possible if the versions are different. There is some discoloration and scratches on the main unit. The battery compartment is clean, with no rust or leakage. Playback has been confirmed with both batteries and an adapter. (Batteries and adapter are not included.) Microphone recording is possible. (Operation confirmed) However, direct recording with the built-in microphone is not possible. Thank you for looking.
