The cover is not included. There is no dirt on the cover, but there are page-turning marks. Please check the photos 4 and 5. Due to amateur inspection, please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. I do not have any pets. It's a fun book that you can read while laughing with your child and using your imagination.
