The Kufi is handmade, so there may be slight size variations, and some water grass may stick out. I purchased this for daytime naps in the living room during the early months of my baby's life, but my baby often slept elsewhere, so I mainly used it 12 times for monthly photos. My baby did not sleep directly on the Kufi, mattress, or cover. My baby was on the snuggle bed, so everything is very clean. This cover is handmade by an artist and features soft pile fabric with pom-poms, making it a special item. It's often sold out and difficult to purchase, but I was lucky enough to get one. I think it's rare because you can't easily find the same one⭐︎ The cover is essential because the bare fabric can be a bit rough! It looked great in photos. (It has been washed and stored, so there are some fold marks, but they will come out with washing.) The Puppapupo snuggle bed was used with the mattress → cover → snuggle bed in that order. You can sleep on the mattress alone, but it provided more stability when my baby was small.
