This is wool from high-quality Suffolk sheep, sourced from a ranch, washed with Monogen, and dyed with the fruit of the Clerodendrum trichotomum (harlequin glorybower) plant. Approximately 80g. The wool has been dyed using whole or crushed Clerodendrum trichotomum fruits, resulting in a variety of colors. Small pieces of grass, fruit, and twigs may remain from the washing process. Removing these with a flick carder, comb, or hand carder will result in a cleaner appearance, as shown in photos 7, 8, and 9. (A small amount of carded wool, separate from the main quantity, will also be included.) Recommended for those who can card the wool. The Clerodendrum trichotomum fruits were harvested in the autumn of 2025 and dyed multiple times, a very time-consuming process. In particular, the "Clerodendrum blue" achieved by dyeing with whole Clerodendrum trichotomum fruits is a color that will make you question your eyes, a truly natural color. It is very rare.
