Type... Pottery... Tsuboya-yaki A Kwan Kamiya pattern hugging bottle by Jiro Kinjo, the first Living National Treasure of Okinawa! An extremely rare item. "Kwan Kamiya" in the Okinawan dialect means "a person carrying a basket of rice on their head." A brightly and crisply fired, superb hugging bottle. Kwan Kamiya is carved with fish on both sides. The dynamic carving style suggests this is undoubtedly a work from Jiro-san's prime. With a width of over 28cm and a height of 19cm, it makes a striking display. This is a large hugging bottle, comparable to Jiro Kinjo's largest. I believe there isn't a hugging bottle with the Kwan Kamiya pattern and a wooden box in the Jiro Kinjo Museum in Nanjo City, Okinawa. I feel there may only be about 10 of these in the world. This is the first time I've obtained one, and I feel that if I let it go, I won't be able to get it again. Maximum width (ear to ear) approx. 28.4cm, height approx. 19cm. Near-mint condition, undamaged. Offered at a low price! First come, first served! Don't miss out on this opportunity to purchase! The price is set at the lowest possible level. I cannot accept price negotiations, so please be satisfied with the images and purchase immediately. I will offer a discount for bulk purchase requests. Also, I can offer a discount for multiple purchases, so please comment if you are interested. Thank you very much.
