It's made of plastic and is lightweight. The joints are slightly raised, giving it a somewhat cheap feel, but it's a rare, large-sized chair with a cute retro design. It's perfect for displaying in a dollhouse or using it to seat dolls or stuffed animals on a display shelf. The color doesn't come out well in the photos, but it's a dark pink, not glittery.
