This is a vase by Bizen-yaki artist, Mr. Munetaka Yamamoto. I purchased it in Bizen City some time ago and have kept it ever since. I also like the gentle, rounded form, which is characteristic of a female artist, and the changes in the firing on the front. The handle on the top is also lovely, and I think it would be easy to arrange flowers in it.
