This is a very old suzuri (inkstone). I received it from my family, where it has been for about 80 years. I don't know much about it, but I remember seeing it used when I was a child. It has a lot of character, and although I haven't used it, I thought someone might be interested. The base (I believe it's zelkova wood) is not removable. It was stored in the wooden box shown in photo 8, but the box is not clean due to ink stains. If you need the box, please comment.
