I tried it on and then washed it for storage. Upon close inspection, there's a slight scuff mark near the logo (see image 3). It might come out with detergent, but I'm concerned about causing further damage, so I'll have to leave it as is. It's a free size that can be adjusted with the belt. The part that touches the head is mesh, and it's made of Montbell's unique lightweight and quick-drying material.
