Removed from a Fender USA American Vintage '62 Stratocaster that I recently purchased used. It can be used by wiring the bridge ground and the jack. There was no malfunction, but I originally bought it with the intention of replacing all the parts, so I removed it after confirming its operation. Pickguard and selector are probably genuine (3-way). Pickups are DiMarzio HS-3 for the front and rear, and the center is an American Vintage original (probably Pure Vintage 59/62?). Also, a push-pull type active booster is built-in. From top to bottom, the controls are master volume, master tone, and booster. The booster is not a mid-boost type, but a type that increases the gain while maintaining the original sound. The previous owner stored the battery under the pickguard with cushioning material. They said it lasts about a year per replacement, but I haven't verified it, so please take it as a reference. Sound check confirmed no issues and no crackling, but please understand that it is quite old, that I only performed a brief 10-minute operational check, and that it is a used, modified part, so please only purchase if you understand the no-claims, no-returns policy.
