Almost 20 years ago, this cushion-like mat was a souvenir from overseas, given to me by a colleague at my workplace back then. I wonder what kind of weave it is? It might be a traditional weaving method, but at the time, I thought, "Oh my! How gorgeous and splendid!" It shows signs of use.
