This is a nursing cover. It can be used like a poncho by fastening the buttons. It also functions as a swaddle or blanket. I bought it because I liked the pattern. Approximately 60 x 160cm I kept it in my bag, but I don't think I used it that many times. I don't see any noticeable stains, but due to the nature of the fabric, the fringe on the edge has some fuzziness from washing. (See the last photo)
