This is a two-tiered jubako (lacquered food container) made of cherry bark craft, which I found at my grandmother's house in Akita. It comes with its original box. There are some stains on the lid (see photo 2). It seems to have been received as a gift for a celebration, and a name is written on the bottom (see photo 5). I considered removing it, but I didn't think I could do it without damaging it, so I left it as is. Please feel free to ask any questions in the comments.
