Used a few times for camping. The cover has been home cleaned. The surface (seating side) has no noticeable stains or tears. However, on the back, there are faint, mottled color smudges (?). The surface is clean, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned. This is a high-back chair with a long backrest that covers the head, allowing you to relax and lean back completely. The included stuff sack can be used as a pillow by putting a towel or similar inside and attaching it to the headrest.
