What is B-15D (MODIFIED): The B-15D is a flight jacket adopted by the US Air Force in the 1950s, and it was the prototype for the later MA-1. After the MA-1 was introduced, the B-15D's boa collar was modified to a rib collar similar to the MA-1, and this was called "B-15 (MODIFIED)". As proof of the collar replacement, a white label was added on top of the original black label.
