This is a genuine Indian jewelry bangle. The artist is Douglas Etsitty, and it is also hallmarked. It's a common size that can be worn by an average man, and the seller, with a wrist circumference of about 18cm, could wear it without any discomfort. As some of you may have noticed from the above measurements, this is a rather heavy gauge bangle, with a width of 1.2cm and a weight of 47g. Even the seller, who is an Indian jewelry collector, rarely sees this size and weight. At 47g, it would usually have a width of about 3 to 3.5cm (without stones). This one felt "packed" in comparison. As you can see in the images, it has a thick silver, and while it's a width that makes you want to layer it with other bracelets, it would be better to wear it alone on one hand, as it would clash with delicate accessories. It's an impactful piece of Indian jewelry even on its own. I checked Etsy, a secondary market overseas, and the average price for bangles by the same artist is between 35,000 and 50,000 yen, but I couldn't find any heavy gauge pieces of this level. I loved it and kept it in my collection, but I'm currently decluttering, so I'm reluctantly selling it.
