"Times Tales" Jeff Ballard Jeff Ballard, a jazz drummer known for his collaborations with Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Ray Charles, Brad Mehldau, and others, formed a trio with Lionel Loueke (g), considered a top figure in the jazz scene, and Miguel Zenon (sax), and recorded this album in New York in 2013. This work is the first by this unique and talented band. To capture the band's breath as it was, the recording was done in a single take on 2-inch analog tape. The tension and questing spirit of the three musicians, who are able to respond to each other's ever-changing and creative play, are captured in this album.
