Ray-Ban Round Metal made by B&L (Bausch & Lomb) from the late 1970s to early 1980s. ☆From a private collection☆ The bridge is engraved with "B&L RAY-BAN U.S.A.", the lenses have the Ray-Ban sandblasted logo, and the left lens has the rare gold script logo. These are original Bausch & Lomb specifications, not seen in the 90s and later. The lenses are the original G-15 medium green from that time. The color is deep and has a depth that is clearly different from current products. The frame rim has "mill-grain" decoration, unique to the Bausch & Lomb era up to the early 80s, with a clear, three-dimensional finish. This process was often omitted during mass production, giving these old Ray-Bans a strong classic feel. The frame is gold-colored and in good overall condition with minimal distortion, considering its age. Comes with the original Ray-Ban leather case.
