These are waterproof winter shoes. I usually wear La Sportiva and Scarpa in EUR 45 for my hiking boots, and Asics in 28.5 or 29 cm. They fit just right when I wear thick socks. These shoes are generally soft, and I don't think they have the severe stiffness or narrow width/instep of hiking boots. I bought them after being told that they use abrasive material (black part) on the sole to make them less slippery. Recommended for outdoor activities, the MERRELL winter boots "THERMO CROSS". They exhibit excellent waterproof breathability (M-Select DRY), insulation (M-Select WARM), and grip (Vibram ARCTIC GRIP A.T.) in cold regions with snowfall. Notably, the winter sole "Vibram Arctic Grip" uses a special rubber that maintains its hardness from 20 degrees to minus 20 degrees Celsius, boasting high grip on ice. Furthermore, the integrated shoe tongue prevents the entry of dirt, pebbles, and water, providing excellent functionality. The midsole has also been changed to FloatPro foam, achieving weight reduction. They are the perfect tool for safe and secure activities on icy roads and snow.
