This is an overdrive pedal from a Japanese Dumble-style amp builder, akg, back when he was still making effects pedals and customizing amps on a personal basis. I purchased it directly from him about 20 years ago, and I think it has a fantastic sound quality. It has two footswitches: the left one turns the effect and Gain 1 on, and the right one adds Gain 2 to Gain 1. There are also two toggle switches for clipping mode and fat settings, allowing for a wide range of sound creation. It has been tested and confirmed to operate on DC9V center negative. As it is a vintage item, there might be some noise in the switches, but I re-checked it just now, and there was no crackling. I don't smoke, and I don't have any pets. Thank you.
