This drum was likely made in 2008, when Mr. Craviotto was still alive. The specifications of the strainer, lugs, and other features are unusual, so it may be a custom order or similar to a prototype, not a standard production model. Due to the shallow depth of the shell, the hoops and the snare mechanism may rub against each other when the snare is engaged or disengaged, depending on the tuning and setup.
